ALL ABOUT US

The WELS Summer Band Camp is a band and arts camp for middle school students offered in Milwaukee each summer.  This is a unique overnight band camp that encourages the use of God’s gifts in band and the fine arts.  We spend six days together exploring the music and art through many Christ-centered activities, projects, and music making opportunities. The entire staff is made up of Lutheran band directors, artists, and college students. The camp is open to band students entering grades 6-9 in the fall of 2022 who have had at least one year of lessons on their band instrument.

This camp is held at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI. This year, in 2022, we celebrate our 21st year of camp and are eager to meet our new campers and welcome back the returning campers!
